Nice inn where the chef's cuisine is a clever mix of local and exotic.
Here you are in the heart of the Chinon vineyard. Enough to enjoy the great outdoors and a hearty meal in the land of Gargantua! In this pretty inn with its tufa stone walls, you will be transported to another time, that of calm and happiness for your taste buds. The cuisine of chef Jean-Marie Gervais is a clever blend of local produce and a touch of exoticism. A quality cuisine, based on fresh, seasonal and local products. A very beautiful establishment with a nice menu that is always well stocked and that changes according to the chef's desires.

En bref personnel qui méprend les clients et prix très élevés pour la qualité des produits, bonne sans plus pour quelques plats (navarin d'agneau bien cuit et fondant, pareil pour le poisson), mais moyenne pour d'autres: les mis en bouche très grasses et lourdes et le gâteau anniversaire était encore congelé quand il a était servi. Ceci laisse penser que les produits même si probablement fait maison ne sont pas frais.
On a tout de même bien aimé "les ravioles croustillants au Saint Maure" et les entrées.
Dommage car on espérait passer un moment convivial.
