Cheese and gastronomy are of course at the center of all the attention. The organizers emphasize the quality and the pleasure of eating well, their constant. This national fair is the meeting place for artisans of taste from several French regions: they will expose their products (wines, cheeses and other delicacies). They will come from Poitou-Charentes, a neighboring region. A visit during this event will allow you to enjoy some specialties such as Chabichou, cheese meal, Cognac, crushed, among other specialties poitevine and charentine specialties. This colorful event will be punctuated with numerous folk and associative musical performances. In addition, the cheesecake contest will reward the best AOP cheese in France.

L'édition 2018 de la foire aux fromages de Sainte Maure de Touraine n'était pas extraordinaire. Il y a avait une vingtaine de stands, dont certains un peu loin de la place principale. Il y avait 5/6 vendeurs de Sainte Maure de Touraine seulement, des vendeurs de Comté et Munster, de fruits confits, de miels et d'objets de décoration. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir plus de fromage à déguster et à acheter.
