If you haven't gotten lost in Richelieu by winning Chaveignes (you should do it, anyway...), come and rest in this ideal restaurant for gourmets! Everything is delicious here, starting with the smile of the person who welcomes you, then the setting, warm as a good wine in winter and fresh and calm at the height of summer by the pool. Also famous is this lamb mouse with its pumpkin delight and red wine sauce, and this duck tartar! We validate. The dishes are of high quality and it is with delicacy that you can enjoy the great classics of Tours cuisine revisited with originality. The wine list is just as interesting thanks to an original selection of wines from here and elsewhere.

More canteen that restaurant...:
Indeed, we were lucky our children have this gift for a gourmet meal to us (on the 4/12/13 for two people (66 year old couple of pensioners), which disappointment...:
Reception of the site, struggle to keep up with three guests, again...
The was not so lucky restaurant, which looks like a school canteen (tables in Formica, paper napkin, the questionable seats, in front of it cobweb under the slaughtering wall day), the setting is nothing gourmet restaurant!?
Didn't the service, poor waiters, (despite their good will) they make the hotel school, if not that...? Dress dubious, basic for lack of service, I do not say any more for these young people who need to work...
Finally the meal known as gourmet, first of all dishes is bland (the lack of seasoning in each dish in is an essential reason...!).
The foie gras for example are not seasoned (15gr /kg theoretically) and there are some nervous breakdown, even served on a slate with cracks as speculoos and a spoon of vulgar stewed apples box it (as chutney?) it did nothing gourmet!
The salad from the Touraine with its two small samosas with organic and let us rillons leather which had to be found as they were recut and especially heated (how much time?), my salad from the Touraine house has rillons soft in which my fork can sting...!
For the two main courses, a wrapped of poultry stuffed with brown, it is true there was probably a chestnut (not found the taste or the brown), accompaniment (1/2 tomato, 2 grilled cuts of courgette, noodles...), nothing gourmet!
For my part I chose fillet of beef, surprise it was fillet, damage it was too seized (blackened, hardened on the plateau.), with regard to the accompaniment, change (1/2 tomato, 2 grilled cuts of courgette, noodles are replaced by a broccoli drinking cup, when with the sauce morels, no taste but some cracks of morels in sauce make illusion... Always nothing gourmet!
Can be the dessert was gourmet? About the tiramisu, we speak felt it, looked at, tasted, left... It was a cream chocolate of gelatinous odourless canteen and tasteless, the two sticks of Mikado piqua inside were sealed by it in the material...
For me, a tiramisu, this dessert of Italian origin must be made at the base of mascarpone in sufficient quantity to find it at least texture and taste, and if the mascarpone is lightened with the egg whites or the whipped cream, texture are cream and light in the mouth, here we had gelatina with chocolate (without chocolate taste...!)
As for the collapse apple pear, nothing original neither in this dessert or in the other desserts! Real desserts of canteen...

In conclusions:
In the foreword of your brochure (xxxbox) you invite you to discover as the regions best the gourmet tables and I doubt you try the restaurants that are in your list! If not when how and by which...?
You are right to entitle your brochure restaurants of gourmet and not restaurants of gourmets (because you must be hungry in this type of establishment)!
This hotel was already criticized (forum the web surfer by ex), unfortunately we who information only too late and then we are served making us our own guide to the gourmet...

I think nevertheless for the satisfaction of the gourmets, duty to broadcast my critics after comparison with the forums quoting restaurants of our region counted in your brochure...
To be precise, keep your money and choose a good restaurant with well-established, avoid yourself the lunches in all kind that stroke a max by promising guests with the owners who to find yourself here to cut down on the quantity and quality...!

A very disgruntled guest!
