You will be seduced by its gentle way of life and by the attention paid to our guests.
The CARIOU family, owners of the establishment since 1989, will welcome you in all simplicity at the Château de Pray. The teams will give you a warm and discreet welcome and will be able to build a "tailor-made" stay according to your requests. Cécile, the youngest daughter of the family, will see to your comfort.
The address is nestled in the heart of a 5 hectare park where you can discover a garden, a vegetable garden... and this magnificent 13th century castle, reworked in the 16th century, framed by its two protective towers. Inside, the charm of yesteryear is immediately apparent.
19 rooms in the spirit of the place with four-poster beds, curtains with tiebacks, furniture from the 16th and 18th centuries and bathrooms dressed in marble and wood.
The swimming pool is sheltered from view and blends in with the woods, the garden and the vegetable garden; facing south, relaxation is guaranteed.
On the savory side, our gastronomic restaurant offers a contemporary and refined cuisine. Our Chef, Frédéric Brisset, will make you spend a real moment of greed.

Food was delicious. However they were very inflexible for adapting to dietary requests with such a limited menu this was disappointing (two dishes out of the six on offer were sold out), unusual given there was only four tables for lunch.
Wine was delicious as was the food though.
We constantly had to top up our own water glasses and ask for our wines to be filled up as bottles were kept off our table. So service needs improving.
