Underground dwelling-peasant refuge, which recalls the way of life of farmers in the past with its farm animals.

In an exceptional natural setting, a group of troglodytic farms testifies to the Tourangeau peasant habitat which was dug in the tufa stone: wells, bread ovens, stables, grain silo, underground refuge to protect oneself from brigands... You will be amazed by their ingenuity! The domestic objects are still in place and the animals have reinvested the place. Animations are organized throughout the year. Night visits in high season every Thursday evening.

Site très agréable à visiter, particulièrement avec des enfants qui aimeront la présence d'animaux et la visite de ce lieux hors norme dans lequel ils peuvent gambader et visiter "les caves"...

Very nice place to visit with children: discovery of farms, animals, history, the village of looters and the witch's cave. There is also a small restaurant on site to taste the fouées… top tip. 2 adults + 2 children = 18 € entry + 40 € at the restaurant
