Domaines viticoles Reuilly

On a farm of 13.5 hectares in reasoned agriculture, the domain produces white Reuilly (sauvignon) and gray pinots for three generations. These wines have been collecting medals for several years. For example, the 2017 Gray Reuilly won the gold medal in the Concours des vignerons independent 2018 and silver in the Concours des grands vins de Mâcon 2018.

"The health of man is a reflection of the health of the Earth. "This precept of Heraclitus of Ephesus perfectly translates the philosophy of the winegrower's profession as envisioned by Denis Jamain. It is therefore quite naturally that his estate, which is run using sustainable agriculture, is gradually being converted to biodynamic farming. Out of the 21 hectares (of which 7 ha are managed organically), 4 ha are planted with pinot gris, 5 ha with pinot noir, and 12 ha with sauvignon blanc. By listening to the host of the place, you will learn how he sometimes gets up in the middle of the night to prepare his plant infusions, how the lunar calendar specifies each important period to act on the roots or the leaves of the vine. When you know that 80% of the quality of the wine is the result of the quality of the grapes brought to the cellar, you will better understand this elementary attention and this rigour carried out on a daily basis that will give the great wines produced at the estate. When you come to Villa Camille, you will be welcomed in a beautiful property where you can taste a vintage with a good local goat's cheese - Selles-sur-Cher, Levroux or Valencay -, observe the fossilized shells coming from the estate's land, of which a cuvée is named, and put a foot in the vines. Domaine Cordaillat - Pascal Dethune is a vineyard renowned for its Reuilly wines. The estate offers a selection of quality white, gray and red wines. Wine lovers can taste and buy these products directly on site.

Domaine Valéry Renaudat is a winery located in Reuilly. With 18 hectares of vines, the estate grows Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris grapes. It offers a varied range of wines, including AOC Quincy and Reuilly white, rosé and red, as well as IGP P'tit Renaudat Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon. Winemaker Valéry Renaudat is passionate about his craft, and enjoys sharing his passion with his customers. The estate also offers delivery services. Domaine Cordier has existed for nine generations. Here, the harvest is always done by hand, so the clusters are carefully chosen and they are collected smoothly. Please note: The red Reuilly in the field was meditated in 2004. Group visits are possible up to 50 people and the area can receive individuals daily from 8 a. m. to 7 p. m. It is an opportunity to meet a winemaker and taste its production.

Claude Lafond's estate has been taken over by her daughter Nathalie, so the third generation manages the vineyards and cellars today. There are wines from Reuilly and Valençay to the recognized quality. You can choose between red, white and rosé, not forgetting a sparkling "traditional method" wine.
