Read moreThe Pont-Vieux has existed since the beginning of the town's construction, at the foot of the fortress, hence its name as «bridge-old». In the eighteenth century houses and shops of one or more floors were installed on the bridge itself (a panonceau at its foot reproduced a vision of that era). Today, the view is very picturesque on the mills and their pavements. The bridge is surrounded by old wooden houses that are reflected in Creuse.
