The most beautiful natural sites to discover Madrid

Created in 1985, this national park stretches over 53 000 ha from the outskirts of Madrid to the Sierra de Guadarrama. Its desert part, La, is the most impressive. Throughout the natural park, there are protected species, such as the leonine vulture. In 1993, the park was also classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO.

Rascafría's natural pools are one of the reasons why the population multiplies by 10 in summer. They are located on a prairie area, which makes it a jewel of nature, and a relief during the hot summer of Madrid.
