OLD VOLCANO

Scuba diving and snorkeling

The depth of the lava formations ranges from 5 to 40 metres. The site is accessible to beginners and the more experienced alike. Entering a narrow canyon, the relief alone is breathtaking. Lava formations and rocks are covered with hard and soft corals, giant clams and oysters. It's not uncommon to see larger species, such as turtles, passing by. Once you reach the safety landing, there's no mistaking the octopus, scorpion fish and other animals that have made their home in the rocks.

NUDIBRANCH CITY

Scuba diving and snorkeling

It's a calm dive site, easily accessible to beginners (the depth doesn't exceed 14 meters). There are a series of rocks that fell during the last eruption of the Daan volcano. Looking a little higher up, there are two large 10-metre-high boulders that are breathtaking and give an idea of the power of the last eruption that moved these rocks. Stingrays, flatworms, porcupine fish, Spanish dancers, eels and huge nudibranchs populate the surrounding area.

BURIAS SHOAL

Scuba diving and snorkeling

A really exciting dive spot, but only for experienced divers because of the strong currents. The current, which can sometimes be powerful, gives the impression of flying underwater. A forest of large black coral branches is home to a multitude of small, colorful fish, schools of tuna, barracuda, emperors and jacks. Globetrotter fish, stingrays and turtles populate the surrounding area, while large fish can be seen passing by on the horizon in the deep blue. Fascinating!

CANYONS

Scuba diving and snorkeling

Here's another famous diving spot, accessible to beginners and advanced divers alike. The diver moves through "little paths" and lava crevices that are fantastic shelters for eels, different types of shellfish, scorpion fish and other small creatures. Although fish species are less varied and numerous on this site, you may occasionally come across a turtle. The canyons start at 5 meters and reach a maximum depth of 30 meters. Numerous corals, sponges and gorgonians.

SIARGAO WATERSPORTS

Water sports and leisure activities

Located on the beach of the Bravo Beach Resort, this water sports school was launched in 2020 by Rozie and Hendrick, a lovely and very friendly Belgian-Filipino couple. The spot is ideal, as the conditions here, between November and March, are perfect for learning to kitesurf (no waves, shallow water and a very large lagoon, so there's plenty of room for everyone). The instructors are professional, qualified and some, like Vincent, speak French. The atmosphere is very family-oriented and the equipment is of excellent quality. We love it!

SIARGAO WAKEPARK

Wakesurfing

The project was launched by Tom, a Belgian who has been based in Siargao for many years. An artificial lake in which to practice wake-boarding towed by a zip-line. Accessible to all, we go there just to discover new sensations, to train alongside kitesurfing lessons or to try out the different jumps. The team is super friendly. It's ideal for an afternoon, and the road to get there is also very beautiful. Don't forget to book the day before - it's a popular activity. It's fun, original and friendly!
