NATIV' EXPLORATION PALAWAN

Some experiences come only once in a lifetime. Five days sailing between El Nido and Coron, from island to island, almost always deserted or inhabited by a few families. Turquoise water, landscapes at the crossroads of Halong Bay and Robinson Crusoe Island. Do not hesitate to offer yourself this expedition. But be careful! If the setting seems to be out of a postcard, the travel conditions are those of Robinson on a holiday (no shower or air conditioning)!

MANILA DOMESTIC AIRPORT

Airport and passenger services
5/5
1 review

The domestic flight terminal is located 1 km from the international terminal. It deserves to be completely renovated; it is more like a small provincial airport than that of a metropolis such as Manila. A tax of 200 P is payable for domestic flights. There is a prepaid taxi service when leaving the terminal and taxis meter.

Offers regular departures to Ilocos (Vigan, Laoag), but also Bangued, Baguio and San Fernando, from the Terminal terminal (except for Baguio, departures from the terminal in Pasay). Also to Clark Airport (Angeles) twice a day. Interesting: conducts the provincial link (all hours) between Baguio and Vigan.

CEBU PACIFIC

It is the largest low cost airline in the Philippines. It serves many destinations with internal flights such as Manila and Cebu of course but also Legazpi, Caticlan (to reach Boracay), Busuanga (Coron), Siargao, Davao, Dumaguete, etc. But also about thirty destinations in Asia such as Hong Kong, Macau, Bangkok, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Ho Chi Minh, Taipei, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Osaka. While fares are low, delays (and even cancellations) on internal flights are not uncommon.

PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RAILWAY

Train

The PNR train from Manila to Bicol was not in service at the end of 2010. After closing in 2006, the line reopened at the end of 2009, but a typhoon again damaged it. It appears that it will be operational mid -2011, even though many of the world doubts. The cars would be new or almost, but the rails are still in poor condition. To follow…
