To reach the other islands, there are rotations between Corfu (3 times a week, 1h20), Preveza (near Lefkada, 3 times a week in summer, 30 minutes) and Zákynthos (3 times a week in summer, 25 minutes). AEROPORT D'AKTION-PREVEZA
Read moreIt is a good option to reach Lefkada from Athens as there is no airport in Lefkada itself. The airport of Aktion, near Preveza on the mainland, is a 20 minute drive from the town of Lefkada. The airport is therefore very popular with tourists during the summer months. Please note that it is difficult to find a taxi or a free parking space on Sundays in the vicinity of the airport because of the large number of charter flights from England.
