HILL COUNTRY BLUEBONNETS

Every March and April, the hills of the Hill Country become beautifully colored by thousands of wildflowers. The most iconic are the bluebonnets, the purple bell-shaped flowers that colonize the green fields. A very important event for Texans, it's a time to come and take a picture of yourself in a flower field - a photo every family has in their photo albums. Head to Fredricksburg for some of the most beautiful scenery, with some of the largest flower farms.
