CORTÈGE DE L'EGETMANN

Historical carnival procession, since its tradition dates back to the 16th century. In the streets of Termeno, floats, extras and the Schnappviecher, a kind of demonic dragon captured and killed by a butcher, parade in a symbolic act personifying the end of winter. The Egetmann is a puppet worn as a wedding procession with his wife, a man disguised as a bride who is forbidden to drink wine, the latter being able to quench his thirst only with grappa!
