Read moreFor the most courageous, the site offers the possibility of measuring at the via ferrata in the imposing gorges dug by the river of Du Riparia. Departure and return from Giaglione. From the village of Giaglione, leave the car near the school where a sign indicates via ferrata. In 35 min, we reach the bottom of the gorge of the torrent Doria Riparia. Place of return: Castello di Giaglione. A long crossing with 2 shoreline changes through rugged Nepalese bridges (very large cables), and an ascent on gray slabs to climb your throat. Count 4 to 5 hours of ferrata. The place, very wild, gives the impression of making progress in a jungle, and the passages above the torrent in the gorges are impressive.
