PARCO NAZIONALE DEL POLLINO

Of the five national parks in the entire territory (Gargano, Pollino, Sila, Aspromonte and Alta Murgia), Pollino, with its 192,565 ha shared between Basilicata and Calabria, is arguably the largest, the highest (2,267 meters for Serra Dolcedorme) and the most fascinating. It has abundant fauna and flora in an unspoiled setting, with a variety of scenery. It is also one of the best managed areas of the Territory: There are many tours, well framed, and various outdoor sports can be practiced there.
