The only Via Ferrata in southern Italy passes through Castelmezzano (length: 1,731 metres and height difference: 249 metres). Its level of difficulty does not require a guide. You can rent the complete equipment (helmet, harness, etc.) from the ticket offices of the Angel's Flight in Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa (booking possible online). A beautiful experience that allows you to discover the Lucanian dolomites and reach otherwise inaccessible viewpoints.

Inaugurated in 2008, it has quickly become a popular educational and tourist destination, for its activities dedicated to science and technology. The planetarium has a 12-metre diameter dome capable of projecting a faithful image of the celestial vault visible to the naked eye. It can also show the starry sky under different conditions.
