The Asador El Fogón de Etayo is our favourite address in Puente La Reina, where you can enjoy excellent regional cuisine in a pleasant setting, blending old stone with contemporary details. Grilled meat and fish, fresh vegetables from the garden (artichokes, asparagus, peppers, etc.): this restaurant relies on good seasonal produce to offer traditional dishes. Don't miss the pochas au chorizo, a very tasty white bean soup, as well as the unavoidable grilled meats "a la parilla".

Awarded the gold medal at Navarre's Pintxo Week in 2017 for its famous "boomveja" (lamb-based preparation), this bar-restaurant offers creative cuisine to be enjoyed in the form of pintxos or a value-for-money 5- or 7-course menu. Young, inspired chef Iñaki Andradas is at the helm, having become a master in the art of combining the roots of traditional Navarrese gastronomy with the various contemporary elements and movements of haute cuisine. Founded in 1888 in the emblematic Plaza del Castillo, this sumptuous café-restaurant was frequented by Hemingway, to whom he paid homage in the "Rincón de Hemingway", a magical place to have a coffee or aperitif. There you can also have lunch or dinner comfortably seated inside or on the terrace. The huge, finely worked mirrors, the thick Art Nouveau columns in the centre of the large room, the profusion of mouldings and chandeliers on the ceiling, everything here is romantic. Highly recommended!

Unpretentious bar-restaurant offering regional cuisine and a daily menu to regain strength. A la carte, quality fish and grilled meats. The setting does not really look like a popular canteen, but the taste is there! Great variety of pintxos, these Spanish specialities cousins of tapas, bread with various accompaniments, all held by mini wooden skewers. Also a good selection of local and international beers, as well as some local wines.

Located in the famous street on the Encierro route, this bar serves delicious pintxos, which the owner likes to call "miniature cuisine". It's a family affair, the business dates back to 1956, and you can feel that the products are carefully selected: in an atmosphere that is not at all silent, you can enjoy all kinds of delicious little dishes, from croquetas, to portions of fried squid, from poached egg with asparagus sauce to boards of Navarrese cold meats... Popular and jovial atmosphere!

This restaurant is located in an 18-hectare vineyard estate, where ecological wines are produced. It is possible to visit the estate and the bodega, but you will come especially to enjoy a good rib of beef grilled on the embers! Also on the menu, in bulk: chorizo with white wine, liver terrine, grilled grouper, and many other sweets. Tarts for dessert also make their effect. You can also, of course, try the wines from the bodega to accompany your meal!

In the historic center of Pamplona and inside the Santo Domingo market, a popular place for pilgrims and Pamplona residents, on the second floor, is the Hamabi restaurant. A restaurant that recreates from a modern point of view the dishes that were served in the old inns of Iruña. At Hamabi, which has also been awarded a Repsol sun, you will find 2 proposals: Comida de Familia, popular recipes full of history, served with the refinement of modern gastronomy and Serendipia: its gastronomic menu.

The Asador Aritza is a restaurant with a decoration as warm as its owners, Juanjo and Aurora, who offer traditional regional cuisine made with delicious seasonal products. You can taste vegetables from the fields or vegetable garden (mushrooms, asparagus, red and green beans, spinach), meats (mainly beef but also seasonal game, especially pigeon), fish a la parilla, and the typical ajoarriero. Each ingredient comes from organic agriculture and livestock farming. An authentic address.

Although the Hotel Pamplona Catedral is housed in a former convent of the Casco Viejo de Pamplona, its restaurant - called La Capilla - occupies the former chapel. The original architecture of the sacred place has been completely preserved, with its heart and its meticulously worked stained glass windows, while the walls, floor and ceiling are immaculately white, creating a unique visual atmosphere. In this unusual setting, one can enjoy a traditional cuisine revisited and presented with great care. A very original experience!

At Bodegón Sarria, an address that has a rather good reputation in town, there are a few tables and a large bar where you can enjoy pintxos made with ham and cold meats. Treat yourself to a ration of "5 Jotas", a top-quality Iberian ham, accompanied by a glass of Rioja. Popular atmosphere in this large room where silence has definitely not taken over. Be careful, seating is expensive here, so expect, like almost everyone else here, to eat standing up! Perfect for a typical restorative stopover.

This beautiful hotel offers rooms that are much more comfortable than what pilgrims are used to - and also much more expensive. But if you feel like a comfortable stopover for one or two nights to relax your legs, this is the place to be. Modern and tasteful design, spacious rooms with large windows.
