Botanical park of 17 hectares which mixes cultivated gardens and wild spaces. Visitors can admire the bamboo grove, the cacti, the orange grove, the exotic garden, the palm grove, the chestnut grove, the cork oak grove... These two gardens, located next to each other, are true haven of peace. The garden of the monastery lined by the "sacred wood" is ideal for meditation. It is the oldest garden in French Riviera. It is said that its plans have remained the same since 1546! Different varieties of flowers create colourful mosaics while old pergolas are adorned with climbing roses. Orange, mandarin and sour orange are found on a tidy lawn. On the lower part, ponds surrounded by benches in the shade make it a perfect spot for a refreshing break while the view on the eastern part of the city is splendid. Not far from there you will find the Garden of Arenas, speckled by the silvery touches of olive trees. This place is loved by bowls players of Nice who come there every season. A friendly atmosphere is guaranteed! There you will meet joggers as well as parents with their children.

Located at the foot of the Charance mountain, this vast 220-hectare estate offers all its visitors a real breath of fresh air. Paths around a lake and in the forest allow you to walk in complete peace. The Domaine de Charance has a unique collection of 600 varieties of old roses. The terraced garden, classified as a Remarkable Garden, displays cultivated and wild plants in an original and dynamic way. Also worth seeing is the Alpine Garden of Gap-Charance. Do not miss the discovery walks of the Domain.

The calm of the monastery extends to its flowered garden. Several species of flowers draw color mosaics on the ground, while shining roses climb over ancient pergolas. Just a few metres away, you can find the bullring garden, speckled by the silver touches of the olive trees. This year-old olive grove is the framework of many performances, including the famous Jazz Festival.
