In a shaded pine forest, many activities around the horse and the pony are proposed to you in a family atmosphere: lessons for all levels, training courses, walks, games, voltiges. In this 10 hectare domain, you will find a sand dressage arena, a grass jumping arena, a round pen, a covered riding arena, a round pen, a paddock with shelters or boxes, a club house and a shaded area for rides. Cacharel is an ideal starting point for horseback riding. Several options are available. A one-hour ride to discover the reserve on the edge of the Vaccarès pond. The visit of the Camargue along the pond and discovery of the breeding of bulls of Camargue race. In three hours, you will be able to survey the deep Camargue. To discover the landscape differently, horse-drawn carriages are also available. Les Cabanes also work with a caterer who can organize Camargue lunches, before or after the walk.

Passage of federal examinations, preparation for competition, training: The reputation of the Pastré equestrian centre is no longer to be done! Here, there are also courses for children from 4 years old, until preparation 7, as well as courses during school holidays (full day from 9 am to 17 pm, with meals on site). This club, set up in the heart of the Maures massif in 2003, under the direction of Séverine Pellerin, a state-qualified teacher with a passion for horses and equestrian sports, offers leisure or sports riding, pony and horse riding activities, competition outings, advanced training courses during all school holidays, federal exams and summer camps. The Comité Départemental d'Équitation des Hautes-Alpes is an organization dedicated to horse riding in the Hautes-Alpes département. Chaired by Gérard NICOLAS, the CDE offers a range of riding-related activities and services.
