You can choose between French wines from small and large vineyards, twenty or so vintages of Armagnac, not forgetting the inevitable cocktails and improvisations by the barman. Entirely renovated by its new owners, the restaurant has become a must in the city center. A real brasserie, with its large terrace opening onto the fountain of the Place Puget. Open for breakfast, lunch andafterwork, the restaurant offers simple and tasty bistro cuisine. Au son des Guitares is aptly named because the music is not that of a classical DJ, but of an orchestra of musicians revisiting the greatest hits. A new address in the old town centre that bourbon lovers have already adopted. On the charming Place Sadi-Carnot, you will love the cosy interior of this bar run by an Italian in love with La Ciotat. Le 3 C is a cultural and civic café run exclusively by volunteers. Prior to the creation of Le 3 C, Aix-en-Provence lacked a citizen-run space for debate, reflection, creative cooperation and the discovery of both amateur and professional artists. An alternative cultural space to the omnipresent consumerist commercial culture. At 3 C, associations can find their place within a collective approach. A snack bar featuring organic, local, artisanal and/or fair-trade produce is also available. In this convivial space, you can simply come for a drink and, above all, share, learn and create. Plus: workshops on Tuesdays (sketching), Thursdays (computing) and one Friday a month (writing). Every Tuesday of the month, there's a big meal to which everyone is invited. You will find, in this mythical establishment of the city, an Italian restoration, and in particular the foccacia declined in various flavours, and the ice creams manufactured artisanalement are the new markers of the Bar of the Market. Also on the menu are charcuterie boards, seasonal boards, sandwiches and meal salads. Everything is perfectly fresh. The service is fast, the prices are quite reasonable and the welcome is pleasant. Always one of our favourite addresses in Cassis. A dining cellar only 50 meters from the port, orchestrated by the sommelier Philippe Bellec. A resolutely epicurean place with over 200 wine references: Languedoc, Bourgogne, Vallée du Rhône and of course the vineyards of Cassis. You can sit in the small dining room in bistro spirit, directly at the counter or on the terrace, and you can place the order: omelette and truffle ham, pata negra, tartine pesto with fresh goat cheese, ideal in early evening or for an improvised aperitif.

Looking for a vintage? Want to taste a good vintage? You've come to the right place! The choice and variety of wines is great, in this cellar with a quirky universe. And if all the good bottles from the vineyards of France answer the call, Provence is nevertheless particularly honoured in the three colours. To complete your tasting, the Cave de Beaulieu also offers an excellent Iberian delicatessen. Note that it is also possible to buy bottles of wine, which will make a nice gift!

During Ju, we knew for a long time a whale that said wave. Today, we go to the Whale to go to the movies or to spend a good culinary moment in the adjoining bistro. Because the Whale of today, opened in 2018, is a cine-bistro that we appreciate a lot. A single room, great comfort, which hosts film debates, workshops or previews. On the movie program, classics, alternative films and current themes. Some sessions are reserved for young audiences. At the bistro, you can eat fresh and organic food. Vincent Zakrzewski has brilliantly taken over the cellar of the Papazian family, famous for their Pastis & Compagnie boutique a stone's throw away. On offer are draught and bottled beers from around the world, creative cocktails and spirits (whisky, gin, limoncello...) from the region's distilleries. A fine selection of Cassis wines completes a wide choice that's sure to please. Les Caves du Port is a veritable cellar-bar, since everything that can be consumed on site can also be bought to go.

This charming, modern and bright address has a friendly atmosphere and is a tea room, bar and cultural café. For lunch and dinner, it is possible to eat original dishes. But what really seduced us was the diversity of activities: cultural events, concerts, afterworks and exhibitions. The calendar is punctuated by theme evenings that will delight everyone. Chez Pauline is the ideal place to meet new people and to party without any headaches.

A cozy new café opened in February 2022 just off Chave Boulevard. A judicious location between several schools, nurseries and playgrounds. The café, run by a young woman and her sidekick, aims to be a friendly place to take a quality break. A cocoon where you can enjoy high quality coffees, great vintages, in espresso or in a more sophisticated way. A large choice of hot drinks, juices and some sweets for a nice snack during the week. On weekends, it's brunch with coffee, pastries, pancakes, bread, fruit salad, cold cuts and cheeses as well as home-made jams. Make a reservation, places are expensive.

Between the Plaine and the Julien course, this theater and neighborhood theater created in 2008, with fifty places is led by the actors and directors, Michel Adjriou and Dominique Lamour, founders of the Circle Circle company. A troupe of twenty people, faithful to its authors, who takes up the most beautiful texts of the classical French repertoire and can give a certain modernity to the moralist parts. We also organize workshops for adults and children, French song concerts, music hall… Ask the program!

This small theatre is aimed at a family audience, both in its programming and its adapted schedules. Many performances are placed in the afternoon, for schoolchildren, with really attractive rates for groups and children, who are particularly fond of the theatre. From mime tales, puppets, classical repertoire in clown version (Molière lends himself wonderfully!), initiations to the history of art for young audiences, the ideas flow. Theatre workshops are also offered for children and teenagers. Borrowed from Antonin Artaud, the motto of the Carthusian monks: "Theatre is bottled present! ».

At the Café des Thés, you can relax, read or work, over a coffee, tea or homemade hot chocolate, accompanied by a delicious sweet. In the summer, meet up with friends for an ice cream, a smoothie or a vanilla frappuccino. And at lunchtime, order salads or bagels. If you like tea and coffee, you can buy them by weight, but also teapots and other accessories. A very nice address, to be discovered urgently for the lovers of snacks!

The opening of this new night bar was a real event in spring 2023. A name inspired by the song of the same name by Michel Berger, but an interior decoration with a Gatsby and Roaring Twenties feel. In the center of this bar, a superb piano of course. All this is very successful, the atmosphere is both hushed and festive. Every evening of the week, different parties, disco funk on Tuesday, 80's on Thursday and 90's house music on Friday. Everybody rushes there, the success is there. On the catering side, you can enjoy Damien Delgado's casseroles from the neighboring La Poule Noire. Choice of cocktails with evocative names: Resist, Some words of love...

Classifying this place was very difficult because as its name indicates, it is a place that can be described as eclectic! Halfway between a coffee-shop and a beer cellar, you can come here to have a coffee or share an aperitif with friends. It's a café that we like to visit at any time of the day. At lunchtime, you can eat a dish of the day. For the snack, pastries, cookies very tasty. Finally a selection of craft beers will delight you. Young and family clientele at the same time. We love the colourful and quiet terrace.

Just a step away from the Plaine and the Cours Julien, a new little setting for a quality literary break. This bookshop-café welcomes you in a serene atmosphere, ideal to cut with the crazy rhythm of the city. The small terrace has a few tables where you can enjoy a hot drink and even nibble on a soup, salad or sandwich of the day, very generously garnished. On the bookstore side, a nice selection of classics and new books, very good advice. A smart place if ever there was one.

This new wine bar opened at the end of July 2022, a stone's throw from the boulevard de la LIbération, near the Longchamp district. It is in an old workshop (whose facade has been preserved) that one comes to taste astonishing vintages, living, natural wines, coming from Catalonia, Germany and elsewhere. Two small tables on the street, a little more inside. A large counter and a bar atmosphere in a garage quite surprising but quite pleasant. To accompany your wine, which will be very well advised by the young owner from Avignon, small cold plates of cold meats or vegetarian. Young and trendy clientele. Nice address in the neighborhood.

Passionate about the cabaret atmosphere, Michel Piacenza first opened in 2001 a first dinner dinner in Sommières (Gard). The desire to settle near Marseille pushes him to search for another place, bigger, to imagine a more amazing show with a resident troupe led by choreographer Thierry Brisson and an artistic director, Jean-Michel Contassot. So the professional dancer, songs, imitations, music, audio and stage assemblies, numbers and costumes, nothing is left randomly. Every Friday and Saturday nights (on reservation only), the MP Show offers a comic, burlesque and transformiste journal where cabaret dance AND music hall alternate with the modern jazz. The timing of the performer (stilt, fire handler) is impressive. A real professionalism for this room where famous comics like Roland Magdane or Gérald Dahan are on the monthly meeting (Les Fous rires du MP Show).

The reopening of the ex-Balthazar in 2012, the mythical venue of the Massilia Sound System group, was greeted with relief. There is still room for small concert halls, associative venues often struggling with neighbourhood problems. A new name for a small venue taken over by the O'Bundies team from the Marseilles punk scene: Le Molotov. Hardcore, Occitan rock, sound system, hip-hop, raggaoili, ska or gypsy jazz, electro, we understand that the underground remains the guiding thread for programmers, open to all so-called alternative musical styles. The Hippodrome d'Oraison, also known as the Hippodrome de la Durance, is a racecourse located in Oraison, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence region of France. Created in 1909, it is the only racecourse in the region. Its excellent location, close to the A51 freeway and the SNCF train station, makes it easily accessible. The racecourse is used by local and departmental associations for horse and greyhound racing. It is renowned for its shady, leafy setting and high-quality facilities. Notable races held there include the Trophée Vert stage. The racecourse has a 1,000-meter grass track for gallop races, as well as a trotting track. It also offers services such as light catering.

The Deffends-Sault racecourse is a must for horse racing enthusiasts. Founded in 1904, the company that manages the racecourse celebrated its centenary in 1994. Nestled at the foot of Mont Ventoux, at an altitude of over 800 metres, this racecourse is unique in its kind, with its lavender field at the center. Meetings at Deffends-Sault are held on a grass track. The gallop track measures 850 meters, with a 250-meter straightaway and a width of 12 meters. The trotting track is 830 meters long, with a straight line of 220 meters and a width of 10 meters. The racecourse has two boxes and a snack bar. For horse racing fans, the Deffends-Sault racecourse is a must-see when visiting Sault.

A real institution located in front of the Mourillon beaches. We like to stop there to drink our coffee in the morning, to nibble a snack during the day, or to have an aperitif in the evening with friends, like all the regular customers. The well-shaded terrace, heated in winter and cooled in summer, is conducive to discussions at any time of day, with a cocktail in hand. The establishment regularly broadcasts sports events and offers musical evenings on Thursdays as well as occasional events (poker tournaments). Free Wifi and beautiful sea view.

On more than 8 hectares, the area of the castle opens up new sensations. Built in the th century by Henri Saver, the founder of the training maritime company, the location seems to want to revive. Everything starts in the afternoon, relaxing by family by the pool. After or before bathing, the Tiki Bar awaits you and one of the 70 deckchairs. Fresh drinks, ice creams, cakes, but also ginger mojitos, limon vodka, gladiators fizz and other drinks that come into the formula coktail + transat. In the evening, it's in the trees that happens, where another cocktail bar makes you rise. Already quite intriguing last year with his Prohibitionist (Carry Nation) bar, Guillaume, is investing in a new summer 2012 concept. In the park, at night, you follow the colourful candlelight, raise your eyes to the sky and see this perched bar. Climb the secure steps and reach this luxurious cabin. The head in the parasols pines, well installed on the benches, you can enjoy a ginger beer, a beer without alcohol on site, small snackings, tapas to grignotter with your fingers. But caution if you feel dizzy or if the intention is to align alcoholic beverages, Pink Garlaban, electro-drink or old rums ambrés. You are 4 metres from the ground, it's about not losing the balance! Drink with moderation.

The association Cultures et Communication offers all year long a program of activities for all for 30 € per year. Movies, reading, conferences, workshops, guided tours of the Toulon area, conversations in foreign languages, game workshops... Once a month, a big event is organized by the members: a circus afternoon and street shows for example, a concert, or a cooking class. But in addition to this exciting agenda, the Café Culture is also a friendly place for exchange and expression over a hot or cold drink.

An atypical address as there are still too few in the Panier and in Marseille. Le Latté is a restaurant but also a unique concert place, with its vaulted cellar dating back to the ^12th century. A café-concert in which one comes to appreciate a concert of jazz or salsa as well as to taste a home-made and seasonal cooking. The musical program can be followed on social networks. On the plate, tatin of candied onions and oyster mushrooms, pecan nuts, roasted razor clams with parsley butter, then back of cod roasted with herbs or Charolais beef chuck braised for seven hours, creamy polenta and butternut mousseline with orange. Amazing, as long as it lasts!

Lilian Bonnefoi is a pastry chef who has set up shop like an artist creating a creative universe. His bright store is located in a quiet area of old Antibes, and welcomes gourmands for a tasty experience. In the windows: chocolates, cakes, macaroons, sweets and other specialties. You can enjoy them inside or on the sunny terrace. Accompanied by a tea, a coffee or a squeezed juice, you will inevitably succumb. The Sunday brunch is simply unmissable. A beautiful address.

A stone's throw from the port, this wine bar comes alive in the evening, with locals and tourists mingling on the large terrace over a glass of wine and thoughtful nibbles. Friendly and very cheerful atmosphere on weekends and almost every evening in season. On the tapas side, a plate of marinated peppers and anchovies, tuna tataki and wasabi mayonnaise or goat cheese carpaccio with truffles. Poîlane bread sandwiches with poutargue, reblochon and chorizo or morbier and walnut. Gourmet as you wish, we will of course advise you which wine to match.

A stone's throw from the clock tower and thus from the old town, this corner bistro is a warm place to relax, chat with friends or have fun on weekends. We love the interior decoration, a bit bohemian, which makes you feel good right away. Young families and young people like to sit there and it is so to speak the only café of Sisteron in this urban and modern style. Many evenings and animations are proposed there. A place which moves, full of future, which brings a breath of fresh air on the city.

At the entrance to the Roquette district, you'll fall in love with the delicious pastries and divine 100% homemade viennoiseries in this charming, warmly decorated tearoom. Marion's eclairs include cracker éclairs, fig carré and, in season, l'Oranais, a croissant with seasonal apricots and crème pâtissière... The brioche buns and salmon and chicken cheddar bagels are exceptional. A festival of delights. Everything here is fresh and excellent. Focaccia with eggplant caviar, tarts with savory flavors. Go for it!
