Saundersfoot's beaches are among the most extraordinary in South Pembrokeshire, renowned for their exceptional beauty. To discover them, you can reach the village of Amroth from Tenby, by bus no. 350, then follow the coastal path to the beaches of Saundersfoot. To the west of the village, there is also Glen Beach, an ideal beach for family swimming, with restaurants nearby. Often events are organized throughout the year, the program is available on site.

About a mile east of Beddgelert. Take the A498 and follow the sign on your right. Buses ^Nos. 97A, 95 and 97 will also take you there. These copper mines were first exploited by the Romans. The voice of a virtual miner accompanies you as you descend the multiple floors. This guided tour (45 minutes) takes you into the shallows of copper mines in yellow tones, which have become golden under the torches! It's very interesting and it's pretty good for the kids, they don't get bored. We recommend it, especially if it rains.

Gold was found here by the Romans as early as the 6th century BC, and the mine remained in operation until the 19th century! A visitor centre, created by the National Trust, provides information on the techniques used by the Romans to extract the precious mineral from the rock and on the particular geology of the site, which has been declared of scientific interest. Accompanied by a guide, you can then discover the interior of the mines in the galleries dug by hand! This site is also magnificently located: there are splendid views over the Cothi valley.

Fauconnerie in operation since 2000 and which attracts many nature and animal lovers every year. After being familiar with birds of prey and falcons of all kinds, departure to fly and recover birds. Possibility to leave for a half-day or take a two-hour walk for more reasonable prices. Beautiful birds of prey, incredibly domesticated. A great opportunity to discover the intelligence of these birds! Photo workshops can be organized, prices on request.

Centre of the red kite, a threatened species of bird of prey that has returned in force in recent years. The farmer, a great lover of these falcons, feeds them every day at 3pm in summer and 2pm in winter. Hidden in wooden shelters, they are seen turning and hitting the prey in a red flash. It is a privilege to attend the meal! And the farmer's passion and sympathy allow us to learn more about these birds. And for photography lovers, it's an opportunity to make beautiful images!

Great Orme Mines is an opportunity to visit a vast cave housing old copper mines already exploited by our prehistoric ancestors. The mines have been exploited for more than 1,000 years, and the legacy left by the miners is immense. Great Orme Mines is the only Bronze Age mine open to the public in Europe. The guided tour (45 minutes) takes you through a maze of underground galleries and the Visitor Centre explores the history and archaeology of the site. Exciting and informative.

For a stroll among the tropical flora, welcome to the Plantasia canopy. A pyramid-shaped greenhouse that includes 5,000 different plants, mini waterfalls, all of which are also frequented by small friendly animals. For example, there are Argentine parakeets: larger and more colourful than standard parakeets, they make huge nests with several entrances! Caimans, snakes, as well as various insects and spiders. New inhabitants have recently joined the greenhouse: Tamarin monkeys from Colombia!

A very flat mountain at its top, hence its name, which can be seen very well behind the village. Climbing it is one of the most popular hikes in the area (three hours from Crickhowell). From its summit, at an altitude of 451 metres, the views over the Usk Valley and the Black Mountains are sensational. Easily accessible, they do not pose major problems, even for those who are not too used to them or for families. However, remain vigilant depending on the weather conditions, the weather can change quickly.

It's a very popular attraction. You should visit Puffin Island (Ynys Seiriol in Welsh), the island north of Beaumaris, populated by these red-beaked birds with their distinctive general appearance. Seals can also be seen there. Please note that departures vary according to the number of bookings and the weather, so it is best to call and book in advance. In May-June, the escapade is all the more interesting as the puffins that populate the island by thousands feed their chicks. And they're absolutely not afraid.
