Head for St David's and Pembrokeshire to celebrate Wales' patron saint with parades and music.
Every March1st is the day of celebration of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales. In many towns, including St David's, he is celebrated with music, red dragon flag parades... And other festivities. Check with your local tourist office for more details. Saint David's (David de Ménevie) symbol is the leek and the daffodil (because the two words are very close in Welsh, many people used to confuse them)
