Centers for the disabled Ile-De-France

This work and leisure centre offers people with mental disabilities a variety of activities to develop or maintain their potential for social integration. It operates in a day and offers personal, cultural, sports, cognitive, leisure, leisure and self-catering activities. Work, including packaging and plis, is handled by the neighbouring ESAT. Many outings in town, in the library, in the swimming pool, in the equestrian centre are also planned. This centre hosts a dozen people, young people from EmPro who have not yet entered ESAT, or older people who come out.

Breaks Neige consists of several shelters and C.I.T.L through France. The day structure offers semi-internat activities with a pedagogical and therapeutic vocation, without any notion of productivity. Well established locally, the house promotes the integration of residents into sévrienne life: extra activities, participation in events (vacuum-greniers, rally, halloween parties, neighbourhood meetings…), festive projects (lottery, Christmas market…).

The Empro de Suresnes welcomes 49 young intellectuals who are 14 to 20 years old, with a team of 28 people. Six educators provide courses, Monday to Friday, divided between traditional school lessons and activities, such as the work of gardens and green spaces, maintenance and building, hygiene and food, shaping and packaging. Sports activities, a initation in computer science and self-sufficiency in transport are also the programme. Friday clubs provide football, Tennis, Plastic Arts, Photography and Outings. Internships in ESAT are set up at the age of 16. The aim is to build with the adolescent and his family the best social, personal and professional integration. The establishment seems to be successful, as it is highly appreciated and encouraged.
