Singer and actor, Maurice Chevalier (1888-1972) won the entire world with his cane and famous canotier, with songs like My Apple or Valentine. Filmmaker Ernst Lubitsch leads him in many Hollywood music films (Parade of Love, 1930, Happy Widow, 1934). He is buried in his stage costume near his mother, in blue smoking, his canotier laid on the chest.

This cemetery dates back to the early th century. It houses the tombs of personalities who marked the history of the city, remarkable by their statuary and funeral monuments. Among the famous tombs to discover, obviously those of the Guerlain family.
