Established in Meaux since 2006 and recently renovated, Le monde d'Arthur is an independent bookshop with over 11,000 references spread over 100 m². With a well-stocked children's and adult section, there's something for every taste and age (practical, travel, school, manga, art, detective, science fiction...). The booksellers are always warm and helpful. The bookshop itself is attractive and very friendly. It's easy to get caught up in the weather, wandering and daydreaming on the shelves.

Following the closure of its seven stores on and around Place Saint-Michel in 2021, the brand can now be found on Quai Saint-Michel in its last remaining outlet. Here, you'll find a second-hand book market, as well as an "Eco Lecture" section where even the worst books are sold at reduced prices. For more choice, head up the boulevard to find two other outlets on several floors.

It's the same quality of advice and exchange that is so important to the owner, Antoine. Four beautiful galley tables present the latest releases, and the shelves feature literature, philosophy, history, the arts, guides of all kinds, an extensive competitions area and a new children's area with selected comics and a few mangas, to keep up with the times. The bookshop also features works from the La Pléiade collection, which brings together some of the greatest authors in history.

It is becoming rare nowadays to find a proximity trade full of vitality, which more is a bookstore (and also a bookstore specialized in the BD)! This is how Volume 47 is a Dynamic cultural factor in the neighborhood, with its rays of novelties, classics, volumes full of colours and action, hidden dreams and coups, oiled replicas and ink bubbles. Born in the shadow of the castle of Vincennes in 1980, this bookstore expanded a few years ago and laid its boxes in more light rooms, rue de Fontenay. Its former premises have been picked up by the Youth-Comic Library, which counts in its rays as many novels, tales, textbooks, mangas, BD… On the 1 st floor of the Millepages Library, the social sciences and humanities works together with those of fine arts, tourism and practical life, with an alcove dedicated to ethnology and travel stories. The ground floor is devoted to literature, science fiction and the detective novel with a concern for the CD. Each of these bookstores is regularly animated by dedicatory meetings that give life to the thousand pages of this charming sign. In 2017, Millepages expanded again and now has a new space of 150 m ² which allows it to honor the title of "the largest independent bookshop in Ile-de-France"!

This bookshop is an original concept, where visitors can find very recent books at unbeatable prices (between 30% and 50% less than elsewhere). The company buys books off the shelves. All themes are covered: from gardening to fashion, art, architecture... And cheaper doesn't mean lower quality... You can really get a bargain here! The two giant wooden cubs keep the entrance door in the way of the English Guards. Inside this store, real estate of Ali Baba, a bookstore with books dedicated to both toddlers and pre-teens. Here you can find the most beautiful tales where you can discover the adventures of rabbits, pig, kitten and other elves. And for wise children, gadgets to take for less than € 1! This is the only address where parents always answer by "if you want".

Amateurs of old books, rare books, looking for a stroke, this ancient, small bookstore will certainly make your happiness. In its rays, all types of books: tourist guides, novels and comics, but also the valuable services of a stationery, press and carterie. Booksellers, always welcoming, are happy to share their coups. A few steps away, on the counter, the store has an appendix, specialized in textbooks and parascolaires, new or used.

For more than 20 years, this small, friendly neighbourhood bookshop, nestled in the heights of Montmartre, has been welcoming beautiful souls and offering beautiful literature. The favourites are put forward, as well as those of the regulars of the place. It is also difficult to resist the pleasant atmosphere that reigns in the evening, during meetings with authors. A nice bookshop, that the Petit Futé team likes very much in the heart of the 20th arrondissement of the capital. The small entrance looks a bit like the one of an old cinema, and when you enter the place, what a nice shock: books everywhere, very long shelves, easy to access. The choice is very wide (literature, school, human sciences, comics...) and your most difficult research will not remain without answers. You have here a fast ordering service, and an offer of research assistance, very practical when you are a little lost.

It's only been open since December 2018, and frankly, it's a little coup de coeur. L'Imaginarium is a beautiful bookshop specializing in children's items, and run by the dynamic Damien Maillard. From books for younger readers to mangas and comics (which suggests that some adults will also find something to satisfy their passion!), the choice is vast, and the shelves are very well stocked! Children will also love the little reading corner. All in all, a great place!

Asian bookshop opened since 1970, You-Feng offers an eclectic selection  : political trials, academic works, martial arts, manga… a host of themes dealing with Japan. You Feng also publishes books on Asia.

The Palais de Tokyo Boutique and Bookshop is a must for art and culture lovers in Paris. Located on Avenue du Président Wilson in the 16th arrondissement, it offers a wide selection of art books, exhibition catalogs, specialized magazines and design objects. In addition to its bookshop, the Palais de Tokyo offers many other activities, such as exhibitions, performances, guided tours and workshops.

While it's now possible to find manga in most bookshops and major distribution groups, this was hardly the case in the 1990s. Last but not least, this bookshop is an inexhaustible source of information on the British royal family! If you're looking for a Kate&William mug, or a pencil case with Queen Elizabeth II on it? No problem! Other cool, kitschy accessories will complete your panoply of UK-loving froggies. A pretty stationery section, with party cards full of English chic, decorated notepads, moleskin, fancy notebooks, little toys and plush toys will keep you happy. Upstairs, you'll also find a grocery section stocked with British specialties: marmalade, sauces, cookies... Finally, there's a pleasant café area where you can enjoy lunch, brunch or the famous tea time!

We won't insult you by introducing you to Gibert, a popular student bookshop that has been open since 1935. In Paris, Gibert Joseph has also set up shop in the ^13th arrondissement, close to Paris Diderot University and the François-Mitterrand Library. Here you'll find everything Gibert has to offer in the way of new and second-hand books, to equip you for your studies or for the pleasure of learning in every field.
