ARCTIC WINTER GAMES

The Arctic Winter Games are held every two years in various northern countries. Nine circumpolar regions send teams: Alaska, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Northern Alberta, Nunavut, Greenland, Yamal (Russia), Nunavik (Quebec) and Sapmi (Scandinavia). It is the largest northern, cultural and multi-sport event in the world, with a special focus on Arctic sports. The 2028, 2030 and 2032 editions will be held in Canadian territories. A must-see!
