To get there by car, take the A6 freeway and allow around 3 hours 40 minutes from Paris or 2 hours 20 minutes from Lyon. On-site parking is available, with spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility. You can also come by train, arriving at the Creusot-Montceau TGV station and taking a shuttle bus to Autun, then a cab to Bibracte. During the summer, a shuttle bus leaves from Autun and Etang-sur-Arroux. Bibracte offers a unique opportunity to discover the history of the region.

LA GRANDE TRAVERSÉE DU MORVAN

The Grande traversée du Morvan is a 248 km signposted mountain bike trail between Avallon and Autun. It's not necessarily a highly technical adventure, but should be reserved for hardy mountain bikers, as 4,300 meters of positive gradient await them. Although it can be done in either direction, the route is recommended from Avallon to Autun. On the dedicated website, stages are suggested, with a GPX track for free download.
