For 26 years now, Avallon and the Avallonnais region have been offering Festivallon, one of France's longest-running festivals, running from July to September (or October, depending on the year). Concerts are offered in restaurants and on bar terraces in Avallon, as well as in Joux-la-Ville, Montréal and Vézelay. It is not a city, but a whole region that has embarked on the organization of this festival which was born in Auxerre in 2001. 22 years later, Dijon, Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, Chalon-sur-Saône, Nevers, Sens, Tournus and the Bresse region of Burgundy have joined the prefecture of Yonne in this beautiful adventure. The concept? From July¹ to August 31, the terraces of cafés and restaurants come alive and give a chance to artists through free concerts. Over the years, this festival has become a true national reference. It calls on artists from the 4 corners of the world to blow a wind of blues on the city of Charente. Like every time, this new edition will see a succession of concerts that will animate the terraces, the streets of the City of the Word, the Benedictine Garden, the Monks' Cellar, the village hall or the neighboring villages. Improvised, sung, played, the blues and its variants deliver to La Charité their authentic, warm and spontaneous colors.

Every summer, from the Fête de la Musique until the end of August, the Esplanade Lamartine becomes the place to be for two months. La Karrière is a spectacular place where nature and art meet. Center of artistic creation par excellence, managed by an association, it animates the territory of the Hautes Côtes de Nuit and makes music, graphic art and wine meet. Located on the site of an old stone quarry in Comblanchien, the theater and its monumental frescoes made on the face of size of over 12 meters impress. During each school vacation period, the castle of Sully is transformed into a fairy tale world and amazes children with its show trips. The actor Thomas Volatier is reincarnated as a colorful character and gives life to the different rooms of the castle during an imaginary story: "Sully Carnavalesque", "Sully en Sucre", "Sully joue sa comédie" or "Frissons À Sully" will punctuate the year 2023. Adults are not left out since in summer and for Halloween, shows are dedicated to them! Let's go for it as a family.

Organized by the Office Chevignois des Retraités de Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur (O.C.R.) and the Town Hall of Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, this festival is offering its second edition in 2019, but remains unique in the Côte-d'Or. For three days, you have an appointment with the accordion in all its forms: musette, country, gypsy and even the Sunday morning mass of the church of the Visitation animated by a classical accordion ensemble.

Itinerancy is the strong point of this festival which proposes a series of concerts in Aix-en-Othe (on the Aube side), but also a cabaret on the roads of the Othe and Armance country (between Champagne and Burgundy) and a festival for young people, "Festi'Coccinelle". In the heart of the Bresse region, Louhans and its now-famous "Les Nuits bressanes" festival have established themselves, over the last ten years, as one of the highlights of France's summer music calendar. Big names such as Johnny Hallyday, Alain Souchon, Laurent Voulzy, Kendji Girac, Francis Cabrel and Calogero have all performed here. And every time, they've opened for young local talent. Slimane and Pascal Obispo on July 5, and Calogero and Grand Corps Malade the following evening, are scheduled to perform at the Bram stadium.

In 2024, this eclectic open-air festival welcomes its ^23rd edition. It showcases the city's remarkable architectural heritage, and features a wide variety of artists, both in form and content: song, circus, theater... Every year since 1982, the hurdy-gurdy resounds in Anost. Organized by the Union of the Groups and Ménétriers of Morvan with the support of the municipality of Anost, the festival welcomes thousands of spectators who come to listen to hundreds of musicians. The whole village mobilizes to share a convivial moment that honors traditional music and this musical instrument with keys and strings that is the hurdy-gurdy. Still an annual dijonnais festival that has success. The Tribe Festival, organized by Zutique Productions, has existed since 1999. The association "Les Croqueurs de Bubbles" organizes its sixth comic festival in Beire-le-Châtel. Every year for the past 34 years, Belfort and the students of the urban area have organized the International University Music Festival. Created in 1987, the Chalon dans la rue festival is the second largest street arts festival in France (after Aurillac). Created in 2021 by the Tonnerrois d'adoption Lambert Wilson, this festival now takes place over four days from late June to early July at various venues in and around the town. In 2022, it took place in the church of Saint-Pierre, in the courtyard of the Hôtel Coeurderoy and in the covered market hall. D'Jazz Nevers is a cultural association based in Nevers. It offers a varied program of jazz concerts throughout the year.

For its first edition in 2019, the VYV festival drew 20,000 people. The Nuits des Forêts festival returns to the National Forest Park from June 7 to 16, 2024 with a rich and varied program. It's the kind of event you like to stumble across on the streets of Dijon. Every year, for a weekend in June, the Rhineland-Palatinate House blocks off the Rue Buffon for a giant open-air festival. For this ^26th edition, fans of German beers and delicatessen delicacies from across the Rhine will be catered for with dedicated stands. 2020 hosts the 11th edition of this festival, which offers a dozen free concerts in the bars and restaurants of the city, every Friday from 8pm.
