Read moreIn a vast area of 625 hectares, on the shores of Saint-Vio Pond, the house of Audierne bay is in fact a centre of documentation and exposure on the coast, nature and art of the region in all its forms. The Littoral Conservatory and the Bigouden Country Promotion Association want to be the custodians of this ecological environment by conserving and increasing the biological interests of the natural site. Through a naturalist hike, accessible to everyone, you discover the riches of this protected mosaic environment. Provide binoculars - possibility to rent on site. Several thematic and naturalist exhibitions, a video room, an observatory, a slide show, a field laboratory, a banding station, a shop are the entire house.

Vane, anemometer, flag, drawings, air currents, diffusion of spray odours and sound fittings are part of the understanding of wind, windy and energy production.

LA MAISON PECHE ET NATURE

Its objectives include promoting fishing tourism, developing recreational fishing, and raising awareness of the protection of the aquatic environment. It has an exhibition space, and a fish pass that allows the passage of hundreds of eels each year. Finally, for the curious nature, many animations are offered, for all audiences. A souvenir shop is also waiting for you. The Fisheries and Nature House currently employs three full-time facilitators. You can go on boat to discover the best fishing sites and techniques, accompanied by a guide for a whole day. For non-fishermen, other activities and animations are also proposed: Hiking, mountain biking, swimming pool…
MELLÉCO
Read moreMellé has been labeled "commune du patrimoine rural de Bretagne" and is strongly committed to sustainable development. It offers an immersion in the interpretation and understanding of its natural and architectural heritage through its interpretation center: Melléco. Opened since 2003, the place offers films, animation days, the Pierres et Nature circuit, evening events, exhibitions, art and path paths... A grain library has been set up, the vegetables are sold at free price between July and October. The money is then donated to a charity.
