The departmental management of veterinary services is a service decentralized of the ministry of Agriculture and Fishing under the authority of the prefect and whose objectives are to control the health of the livestock in order not to compromise the economic activity. It also has the role that of protecting public health avoiding the man with the transmission of diseases. Finally, it aims at ensuring the harmonious cohabitation of man and the animal by the control of the animal trainers.
