Gourmet festivals Brittany

The roscovite city celebrates its famous pink onions during a weekend in August. This vegetable with its particular flavour which can be eaten raw, cooked in pies, soups, omelette, candied... is on the festive program. From organic and conventional farming, farmers sell in braid or in bulk. Among the many tastings: music, entertainment and dancing are offered.

This recurring event, created in 2016, is a firm favorite with the people of Rennes. Sundays are often dull, sometimes lacking in animation, and the weekend definitely seems too short... The Marché à manger is just the thing to prolong the festive atmosphere of the weekend! In the halles de la criée, with each new monthly edition, you'll have the chance to pick and choose from the stalls and food-trucks present. The aim is to eat well without breaking the bank, so the different brands taking part in the event, which change each time, offer exclusive specialities and portions designed for the particular logistical conditions of the venue. So you can sit down at the large communal tables, enjoy a beer and even dance to the sound of the music. An event for young and old, at the crossroads between kermesse and brunch, in the grounds of a historic monument, that has the gift of reconciling everyone! And for a zero-waste MaM, don't hesitate to bring your own containers!

This year, Les Galettes du Monde will once again feature 29 countries! This two-day festival is unique. It has won the incredible challenge of bringing together cultural associations from the four corners of the globe to showcase the extraordinary variety of galettes cooked (cereals, rice...) everywhere: Madagascar, in the spotlight this year, but also Colombia, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ukraine, Cambodia, Senegal, Vietnam, Afghanistan, the Berbers, Burkina Faso... and of course Brittany.
