Located about 10 km west of the city centre, the capital's largest bus station. Serving both the north and south of the country. In other words, it is a real anthill. This bus station serves the south of Vietnam, as far as Ho Chi Minh City: about 50 hours of travel time! (yes yes, you read that right!) So we certainly recommend that you take advantage of bus travel, as it is the most economical mode of transport and the vehicles are relatively comfortable thanks to the bunks and air conditioning... nevertheless, remember to make stops along the way to avoid making more than two days of transport in one go!

The express bus station offers all-day departures to Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Dà Nang, the Highlands, etc. An excellent means of transportation that has the benefit of being economical for travelers on a tight budget. These buses are equipped with sleeping berths and air conditioning to allow you to travel in proper conditions. An excellent way to meet the local population and discover beautiful landscapes.

From here, take the bus to Hanoi, Lao Cai (railway station and Lao Cai-Noi Bai/Hanoi freeway) and the Dông Van plateau. In Bai Chay, the bus station is located on the road to Ha Long. Departures to Hanoi from 7am to 4pm and to Haiphong from 9am to 3pm. You can book your tickets online. Not very practical, because it is very far from the city, the bus station of Mien Tây serves, with express and non-express buses, the south of the country and the cities of the Mekong Delta: Vinh Long, Long-Xuyen, Châu Dôc, Cân Tho, Rach Gia. The station, small in comparison with Mien Dong (due to the size of its area), welcomes more than 13,000 passengers every day. Some distance north of the large Bin Tay market, the Cho Lon bus station is very busy. Frequent departures to My Tho and My Thuân in the Mekong Delta. 42 daily departures and tickets for all budgets. Possibility to book online via different transport companies. A little bit of a bonus: the station is located next to a large market, which tourists regularly visit. Very famous for its rice trade, Cho Lon is considered as the Chinese district of Ho Chi Minh City.

It is the largest bus station in Binh Thanh district. Serves the North as well as the city of Vung Tàu (2 hours drive). Very early morning departures, from 5 am. Hourly departures to Dà Lat (at least 7 hours drive), Dà Nang (at least 22 hours drive), Nha Trang (11 hours drive), Hanoi and Hue (about 30 hours). Several companies offer to book tickets online: a convenient way to prepare your trip in advance.

The bus station offers evening departures at around 8 pm for Ho Chi Minh City, and three times a day (around 10 pm, 1 am and 6 am, allow 8 hours for the journey) for Long Xuyên. For Rach Gia, departures at 2am and from 7:30am to 10:30am every half hour. It is the company Virak Buntham which serves the station. Other destinations: Cambodia (Phnom Penh, Kampot, Kep and Sihanoukville). The advantages of travelling by bus are multiple: inexpensive, typical to meet the inhabitants... the vehicles are equipped with bunks.

From the bus station, buses leave to many destinations and connect Dà Lat to Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hue, Buon Ma Thuot, Dà Nang. Journeys can be long, but travelling by bus is very economical. For the tourist buses (to Hô-Chi-Minh-Ville, Nha Trang, Phan Thiêt...) tickets are rather on sale in hotels or tourist agencies. Conveniences on the spot, to buy refreshments and snacks before the trip.

The station is located in the west of the city. You can get there by following Cach Mang Thang Tam street to its end and then Truong Chinh. From this station, buses leave for Tây Ninh and Cu Chi. Please note that these buses are not recommended for the visit of Cu Chi tunnels or Tay Ninh caodaïste temple which are far from the bus stops. 42 daily departures are made from this station. Two bus stations with different directions depending on whether you are heading north (Hanoi...) or south (Ho Chi Minh City...). It is possible to book your bus tickets directly online.
