The Bahamas, a lazy, unusual and chic destination, makes us dream. This archipelago of 700 islands and islets is unfortunately not spared by the Covid-19. A first case was declared on 15 March and serious measures seem to have been taken to avoid a rapid contagion, but you'll have to wait before diving into its crystal-clear waters. Since 19 March, foreign nationals from Europe and countries heavily affected by the pandemic have been banned from entering the Bahamas. If you are a resident, and arrive from one of the restricted countries, you will be quarantined, or placed in isolation at home upon arrival in the country. The Bahamas Tourist Office remains available to assist travellers with any questions they may have by calling 01 45 26 6262 and by email at [email protected]
