RAINBOW REEF

Natural site to discover

Rainbow Reef is one of Fiji's most famous dive sites. Located in the Somosomo Strait, between Taveuni and Vanua Levu, divers can choose either of these 2 islands to discover the Rainbow Reef. Divers of all levels, as well as those who prefer snorkeling , will be delighted with their outings. The coral is magnificent and the marine life rich, and you're sure to spot manta rays, sharks and barracudas. We recommend the following dive sites:

The Zoo: one of Rainbow Re ef's most famous dive sites, and as the name suggests, you'll come across a host of marine animals: manta rays, sharks, barracudas, moray eels and more. It's also a soft coral paradise.

Purple Wall: a surprising dive along a wall up to 60 meters deep, covered in soft corals of purple and pinkish hues. Here, you'll find hard corals and just as many fish.

The Great White Wall: another popular Rainbow Reef site, with a multitude of hard and soft corals. Access to the Great White Wall is via a tunnel with a first exit at a depth of around ten meters and a second exit at around 25 meters.

Yellow Tunnel: here, the corals are yellow and soft, and the depth of the tunnel ranges from 9 to 24 meters. White-tip sharks are a regular sight.

Fish Factory: a magnificent display of marine life featuring turtles, moray eels, sharks and manta rays.
