But you'll also find all the general information you need about the country. Together with the Fiji Times , these are the two best means of communication and information in Fiji. International news is perhaps a little less prominent on the FijiLive site than on the Fiji Times.

This is the official website of the Fijian government, so it contains some very interesting information on Fijian news and current events. This is also where you can access the various Fijian laws, information on the Fijian budget and a list of open positions in the Fijian civil service. The site also contains an up-to-date list of public holidays (some of which have changed in 2023) and school vacation dates.

This website reviews the main dive sites around the world, including Fiji (although the Mamanuca and Yasawa archipelagos are missing, as the site is still under construction). It also gives various diving tips, including seasonal advice. The Fiji Tourist Board website (www.fiji.travel) also provides very interesting information on the various dive sites and the actions taken to protect these sites and the environment.

News website

This site summarizes and updates everything to do with tourism in Levuka, including activities, restaurants and hotels. It's an interesting website to consult, but it's not always completely up to date (the Whale's Tale restaurant, for example, closed following the Covid crisis). The information on how to get to the island is interesting, but it's worth checking the exact timetable directly with the shipping companies.
