Set in pine trees, the trail leads to various lookouts overlooking the Saguenay Fjord, the highest of which reaches 517 metres. It goes without saying that the view is simply extraordinary, and a small picnic area has been set up to allow you to take a break in this sublime setting. The nearest observation point is 15 minutes from the parking lot.

Read moreThe municipal wharf area is highly frequented by visitors, a must see point during a trip to Sainte-Rose. The place includes parking, shops and fast food (here you will find traces of Pierre Richard's visit following the shooting of the film Le Bonheur de Pierre). From this point, three trails - which join three others - allow you to take a short walk in the forest. Observation points along the fjord are accessible from these trails and offer a breathtaking panoramic view.

NIAGARA GLEN NATURE CENTRE
Read moreThis nature center is located in the Niagara Glen, an area overlooking the Niagara River rapids and the famous Niagara Whirlpool phenomenon. Approximately 4 km of trails wind through the Carolinian forest where prehistoric geological formations are also found. There is an exhibit about this natural site at the interpretive center, and you can also join a hike with a naturalist guide (May to August).

SENTIER DU FJORD
Read moreTadoussac offers magnificent hiking trails for lovers of nature and picturesque landscapes. The Sentier des Dunes de Tadoussac is one of the most beautiful in Quebec and offers a unique experience. Visitors can also enjoy short strolls through the village, discovering its natural environment, heritage, colorful houses and charming stores. Trails are indicated in dotted blue on the map of Tadoussac. Some trails have been developed by the Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay and require the purchase of an access fee, notably the Le Fjord trail. The trails offer panoramic views of the Saguenay Fjord, the St. Lawrence Estuary and the village of Tadoussac. Experienced hikers can even continue their adventure as far as Baie Sainte-Marguerite, with overnight stays in a refuge. The sunsets over the fjord are legendary.
