Here is an atypical address in the area to know! Despite the abundance of food in the region, Garage Pizza has managed to build a good reputation among locals and visitors. You can buy a delicious pizza for a good price, in a real garage. Try the Canadian (pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms) or the Goodfella's (cold cuts, pepperoni, peppers, mushrooms, onions and olives). There's not much room to eat in, so plan to take your pizza home.

Another address of the famous Terroni Group, Spaccio West occupies a large space in the heart of one of the city's oldest factories (where Drake Commissary used to be before it closed). It's a market full of prepared foods and gourmet products, a wine store with a private import service, and a restaurant where you can enjoy homemade Italian specialties, especially the fresh pizzas and pastas that draw crowds. One of the Financial District's hottest spots, Jump offers a decidedly urban atmosphere with a lovely New York-style bar. Chef de cuisine Matthew Cooper and his brigade concoct tasty dishes with a clear preference for fresh meats and pastas. The winning combination: North American cuisine with Italian influences. The wine cellar also has some nice surprises in store, not to mention a vast selection of whiskies, bourbons and scotches. Bonus: an interior courtyard to enjoy the sunny days.

A love story led to the birth of this restaurant: a Quebec woman's gourmet trip to Italy, a local chef whose cuisine seduced her, a move to Canada and the adventure began. Roberto, the chef in question, and Geneviève, his partner in life and business, run this restaurant where pizza reigns supreme. The discovery formats for two are highly recommended, as is the rest of the menu. The Italian wine list is sublime, as is the bakery corner with its breads of all kinds.

A relatively new address on Tremblant's culinary scene, this is a very pleasant gourmet experience, and one worthy of the trattorias of Italy. The fresh homemade pastas and wood-fired pizzas are pure delight, as is the fine selection of antipasti to whet your appetite. There's also an excellent wine list, and the staff know a thing or two about wine to advise you. Mention should also be made of the restaurant's design, which uses raw materials to give it an industrial-chic look. We'll definitely be back!

Chef Rob Rossi's table has distinguished itself since its opening by ranking 5th among the best new restaurants in 2018 according to Air Canada enRoute. A hot start! In a historic house dating back to the th century Papa Luigi serves as excellent Italian specialities, including the famous sparkling steak, which is a favourite for seeing and tasting. Beautiful wine cellar and warm atmosphere.

Italian cuisine revisited, and especially a terrace overlooking the Yorkville neighborhood and its small Victorian houses. At night, the illuminated street is a pleasure to watch. But Trattoria Nervosa is also a place recommended for a good pasta lunch on a shopping day (gluten-free option available on request) or to enjoy a pizza prepared according to the rules of art. The Cibo Wine Bar in the upscale Yorkville district blends the atmosphere of a wine bar and a traditional Italian restaurant. This tapas bar is a little wooden gem on College Street. Its bar seems to have been carved out of the side of a huge tree, just like its rounded ceiling, where round bottles are enthroned. Wynona, it is a trendy Italian restaurant a little in the east of East Chinatown. During our visit, we heard about it more than once! This restaurant of chef-owner Jeffrey Bovis highlights seasonal and Canadian products such as smoked swordfish from Nova Scotia and wood duck from Ontario. Virtually everything is made in-house, such as fresh pasta, sauces, etc. The selection of wines, some of which are organic and natural, will make many smile. The first Buca opened in 2009 on King West Street. Messini has been open for over 20 years and is a true institution in the Greektown area. Its reputation is based first and foremost on its gyros, which many consider to be the best in Toronto and beyond. While the original recipe is made with pork, Messini also offers versions with chicken, lamb or beef. Perfect for a craving at any time of the day! The restaurant also offers other specialties, such as the must-try souvlaki, grilled octopus or the Greek land and sea plate.

A gourmet stopover par excellence, it prepares Neapolitan-inspired pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven (you can admire the kitchen team at work as soon as you set foot in the restaurant). The menu features some 15 options, not forgetting starters to whet the appetite (plate of prosciutto, burrata, arancini, etc.).
