STASH CAFÉ

Polish restaurant €€
4.7/5
3 reviews

"Nothing accompanies a Polish meal like a good vodka." All right, let's do this... With krokiety (pancakes stuffed with meat or mushrooms) or a bigos (traditional stew), you'd drink it almost like whey. Roast wild boar is also worth the detour, without forgetting sauerkraut and the famous pierogi. The menu includes about twenty specialities for a cuisine with unexpected and rare flavours. In addition, the welcome is excellent, and the décor is splendid, with beautiful reproductions of works by Polish artists.

TOWN

Restaurant cuisine dEurope €€

Owned by chef Marc Doiron and his wife Jennifer Wojcik, this Ottawa foodie spot is a hot gastro-pub in the capital. The Italian-inspired cuisine is an ode to flavour, simple and comforting, but always evolving. Whether it's for a meal or an aperitif, Town is definitely an address to put in your notebook. To top it off, they also have a second restaurant, Citizen, which offers small dishes in the same line, wines and cocktails.

MAISON PUBLIQUE

British restaurant €€

Derek Dammann and his financial partner Jamie Oliver, world-renowned British chef and TV host (Naked Chef for Intimates), opened the establishment in autumn 2012. The premises look like an English pub (which means Maison Publique is the translation of Public House). So expect to find British specialties on the menu with the chef's very personal touch. To accompany all this, the house offers, for our greatest pleasure, beers from Quebec microbreweries and Canadian wines.

GRAFFITI

Restaurant cuisine dEurope €€

More French-Italian and inventive than Graffiti, impossible! The critics are unanimous and our taste buds confirm it, choose with your eyes closed, it's excellent every time. Our suggestion: as a starter, the shrimp and scallop puff pastry with Nantes butter and spinach, and as a main course, the pan-fried sweetbreads with mushrooms marinated in balsamic or the risotto with duck confit. Founded in 1984, the Graffiti offers an original and constantly evolving market cuisine, accompanied by one of the best cellars in the region.
