In Canada, Megabus mainly serves the Montreal-Kingston-Toronto route for a modest price, albeit much more expensive than before the pandemic. These buses (with free wifi) also serve the Greater Toronto Area, the Niagara Peninsula and some American cities from the country, with or without connections (notably Detroit and Chicago). Megabus is also present in the United States (several hundred cities served, most of them on the East Coast and in the Great Lakes region) and in the United Kingdom.

Orléans Express is THE intercity bus company for the Montreal-Quebec City route. There are numerous departures every day, in both directions. Orléans Express also serves the Centre-du-Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie regions on the south shore of the St. Lawrence, and Lanaudière and Mauricie on the north shore, in addition to providing a link to Montréal-Trudeau airport and another to Ottawa/Gatineau. The Ontario Northland bus company connects Ottawa and Toronto with cities in central, northern and western Ontario, even as far away as Winnipeg, Manitoba. You'll find buses to Cochrane, Hearst, Huntsville, Kenora, North Bay, Parry Sound, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Temagami, Thunder Bay, Timmins and Wawa.
