Two bars with great cocktails, including one on the roof, a Korean-influenced restaurant with good dumplings and a performance hall, the Rechabite is an institution in its own right. Built by a religious temperance movement opposed to alcohol consumption, with the aim of creating a convivial environment where people could get together, it is now a temple to entertainment! Numerous concerts, often offbeat burlesque shows and the Perth Fringe Festival, a comedy festival held in January and February, are held here.
