N’GOLÁ

Created in 1995 by the artist and famous chef João Carlos Silva, the Biennale of Arts and Cultures brings together every two years many artists, creators and exhibition curators from all over Africa. For three weeks, the island becomes a true cultural crossroads of contemporary Africa through conferences, exhibitions, concerts and culinary shows. The 8th edition took place at the end of July 2019, the next one is scheduled for 2021.
