ECOGÎTE L'AUTRE DÉSERT

The Écogîte L'Autre Désert is a bed and breakfast located in Ségui de Mdhila, in the governorate of Gafsa, Tunisia. The owners, Véronique and Lotfi, welcome you to their bed and breakfast/camp to experience the adventures of Tunisia's last nomadic Berbers. You can enjoy superb hikes, collect fossil shells and rest under the khima, a traditional woven tent. Pottery, weaving, cooking and traditional hunting workshops are also available at extra cost. The Ecogîte's central location will enable you to visit local tourist attractions such as Tozeur and its crafts, Métlaoui and its little train Le Lézard Rouge, Douz and its sandy desert, the ancient village of Séned, and many more.
