In 2015, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities launched the "Jordan Pass" to attract visitors. This pass is very quickly compensated, since in addition to exempt visa fees (40 DJ), it proposes visiting 40 tourist sites and Petra.
Three formulas are proposed. Prices vary depending on the length of visits to Petra.

To believe the figures, the French, who had deserted the destination, seem to have appreciated the concept. In 2016, 31 175 French people visited the country, a growth of 1,4% compared to 2015.
