ANNIVERSAIRE DU ROI HUSSEIN

The second king of Jordan and father of the current King Abdullah II, King Hussein was born on 14 November 1935. He ruled Jordan from 1952 to 1999. He is held in high esteem by the Jordanian people and his birthday is celebrated every year. King Hussein is often considered the father of the Jordanian nation because of his long reign and his political choices that helped forge a common destiny and sense of belonging for his people.
