Cafés, bars and brasseries are open every day, but rarely past midnight. Generally speaking, the locals are not big partiers or late-nighters.
Budget & Tips
A small bottle of water costs 55 Mden, a soda 80 Mden, half a liter of local beer 100 Mden, a cocktail 300 Mden and a bottle of wine between 250 and 2,000 Mden. Tickets for classical music, opera and dance performances range from Mden 400 to Mden 600.

To attend classical music, opera or dance performances, book in advance at the National Opera and Philharmonic of North Macedonia in Skopje, and during the Summer in Ohrid festival.

There are night bus services in Skopje.

Alcohol consumption is permitted from the age of 18.
What's very local
As is often the case in the Balkans, being drunk in public is frowned upon. Drink in moderation.
