The Woodstock of Eastern Europe takes place every year for three days. Big atmosphere and a success never denied.
The Trutnov Festival is known as the "Woodstock of East Bohemia". It is one of the largest music festivals in the Czech Republic, and it is also the oldest Czech festival, established in 1987, although that year a police intervention dissipated musicians and audiences before a note of music was played. Since then, non-conformist and underground artists from all over Eastern Europe, and now elsewhere, have performed here. The former president Václav Havel used to come here every year.
