This theatre, the name of a child in the country, opera and ballet program throughout the year. In 2004, the Janáček Brno music Festival was held to mark the 150 th anniversary of his birth, as well as the 100 years of his first opera that he played in Brno.

Since 1999, the cultural festival Khamoro ("sun" in Romani language) presents numerous concerts, animations and festivities in the Czech capital with Roma artists coming from all over Europe, but also Gadjé who perform gipsy music, as well as gypsy jazz. A rhythmic and colorful festival that takes place in many rooms of the city (Rock Café, Karlin barracks, Jubilee synagogue ...) and the banks of the Vltava. Film screenings, exhibitions and craft markets also take place on the sidelines of the festival.

This international competition of sacred music is the rendezvous of choirs around the world.

Famous international festival of classical music. It begins on 12 May, the day of the death of the great Czech composer Smetana, and ends traditionally on 3 June by Beethoven's 9 ^th Symphony at the Rudolfinum.

Since 1964, this jazz festival takes place on praguoises scenes, including the Lucerna Hall, and welcomes Czech and foreign groups.

The festival takes place on Prague Old Town Square (Staroměstké Namesti).

The Prague International Theatre Festival has programmed eight days of performances on staggered stages each year in October since 1996, but also workshops, reflection seminars, conferences, etc. Throughout its history, several Prague "stages" have been used to host the rich programming, but not necessarily theatres. Editions were held in an old brewery, at the Prague Zoo or on Wenceslas Square, helping to ensure that the festival was a great success with the public.

The best artists from the alternative and experimental music scene perform live on different stages every year in mid-November. Rock, world and experimental music, as well as jazz, are on the program, with bands from all over the world: Europe and the USA are often the most represented, but bands from Africa and Asia also take to the stage to broaden the range of discoveries. Numerous stars have graced the festival stage since the late 1990s.
