The Pajala market, which dates back to the 1700s, is the busiest market in the Norrbotten region with around 45,000 visitors. While the summer is definitively settled, the deserted streets of the winter season have given way to the swarming of locals who mix with tourists, especially at the market. On the stalls you can find everything: local products, crafts, sweets, clothes, etc. Nearly 300 vendors line the streets of the village. The youngest ones linger at the carnival!
