VENDREDI ET LUNDI DE PÂQUES (VEĽKÝ PIATOK A VEĽKONOČNÝ PONDELOK)

Easter Monday is the day after Easter Day, i.e. the resurrection of Christ, so its date is variable. This festival is one of the rituals of transition between the end of winter and the beginning of spring to come. In the Greek-Catholic Church of Slovakia, a solemn procession takes place around the temple after the liturgy of St. John in which the Gospels are read. This day is a holiday in the country.
