FIESTA DE SAN PEDRO Y SAN PABLO

Every June 29, the Church commemorates St. Peter and St. Paul, two of the greatest and most famous apostles who defended the Gospel and are also the founders of the Church of Rome. It is a great religious festival throughout the country and a holiday in honor of the saints. This Christian holiday is celebrated in the cities of San Pedro de Poás, Jazmines de Upala and Turrubares, Alajuela and in León Cortés, San José, Heredia, Limón and Buenos Aires de Puntarenas.
